• The staff in the office were all chatting when Shannon stepped in, but they all went mute suddenly. She glanced at them, walked straight to her seat, and placed her bag before taking her cell phone to check the message that just dropped.
• [Make sure to go for a checkup today at the hospital]
• She sighed and placed the cell phone on the table. It's good that she wasn't a normal staff member who would be bound to make excuses. She will have to leave and return when she wants, and that's why she must quit working in the newsroom once her contract with Georgie ends because she is sure that her coworkers will use it against her.
