• Grandpa Thompson walked straight to Georgie and snatched the file he was holding from him. From his facial expression, he sensed something was wrong with the file he was holding, and how he glared at Shannon awakened his adrenaline, too.
• He read the file through and dropped it on the floor, “What does this mean?” his raspy voice thundered within them all. “Who is suing you in court?”
• Goergie glanced at Shannon and gulped. He wouldn't want to implicate Shannon because he believed she knew nothing about it, but the anger that surged through him at that moment made him scowl at her again.
