• Shannon cuddled her arms around her body. It seemed the rain wasn't going to stop anytime soon, and there was nowhere for her to at least sit down and wait behind.
• She didn't know when tears welled up in her eyes. If she was told that Georgie would do this to her, she wouldn't believe it. Was that the reason he wanted a vacation together? So he could toss her out of the car in an unknown place like that?
• ‘That dude needs to go to hell. I was so stupid to accept this vacation. Is this his way of thanking me for surviving the torture his sister put me through?’ she released her arms and began darting her eyes around. ‘This place looks like a desert. No single car has passed by since then…’
