Chapter 26

• In a serene office, Tony sat on the cushion positioned behind the wall, below the window. He rested his back on it, staring at the ceiling. Since after the conference, he hadn't gotten himself. He had kicked Haven out of his house, hoping that it would make him feel okay….but to no avail, it only worsened it.
• His day in his office was like being roasted in hell. Each time he recalled that his ex-wife, Shannon, was with his worst rival, goosebumps descended on his skin.
• Why would she choose Georgie of all people when other men out there were of no match to him? He believed that Georgie approached Shannon by himself so he would use her against him.
