Chapter 8

• “Uhmm,” Shannon lost the words that almost left her throat. “I'll be done quickly.” She managed to reply to him and then walked to the bed. As she got seated on the bed, she gave him a quick look and gasped. ‘Dude is fucking hot. Why would he leave his shirt unbuttoned?’ she shook her head.
• He walked away from the table and came closer to her, causing her to swallow the last saliva in her mouth. He looked at her intently and scoffed, “I've accepted to help you bring down Tony, but you must promise to not return to him again even after our contract ends…”
• Shannon found her lips gaping. She couldn't control the emotions that swam in her and the way her lips parted into a slight smile. He really accepted…..then Tony is done for because the man before her is richer than him and would tackle him so easily.
