• Even though Shannon didn't want to pick up the call, Georgie peeped to see the caller, and the blood in his body rushed through. “Park at the side of the road…” he ordered the driver who did as he ordered.
• Shannon turned to him, “What's the matter? We should be at the office now, shouldn't we?”
• “Why should we when your ex-husband is calling you on the phone? Shouldn't you pick up the call? Does he want to come take you from me or have some moment out there with you?” he unbuckled the seatbelt. “So tell me, why is he calling you? Did you two meet when you left me?”
