Chapter 18

• “We will see when I'm back…” Shannon said to Georgie before alighting from the car. She hurried into the company building but stumbled on the security at the doorpost. She lifted her head and patted his shoulders, “I'm sorry, please.”
• The young man gave a single nod, and then she hurried into the office. In her department office, she took her seat and turned on the system before her. She had already seen the piles of work on her table, and there were just a few hours left before the end of the day's work.
• Her mind was clouded with what she was doing. There was an interview she was expected to cover up, and the location is a few miles from the spot of the accident that caused the death of her parents.
