- The sun had risen and shone directly at Tony's face. He had left the window ajar the last night because he didn't need the air conditioner but the natural breeze instead to avoid worsening his runny nose.
- He sat up from the bed, and the first thing he did was to check the time before recalling that it was the weekend and he wouldn't be at work. During the work days, he had sent a message to his parents about his visit during the weekend, so he didn't need to waste much time.
- It's been months since he had time to visit his parents. Exuberation bubbled in him the moment he recalled his mother's dishes, which he couldn't wait to taste once again.
