• AT THE PALACE
• When Lyra got out of her room, she swayed the whole quarters to be sure the gunshot didn't hurt anyone. She strongly believed that someone must have been hurt with that bullet, which was only targeted at foes during war.
• Seeing that the palace was peaceful and the merriment had resumed after the people pondered what was going on, she decided to reach the hill to be sure Odessa and the king were okay. But before she could reach the gate, a carriage rode into the palace through the gate.
