• “You look so happy, Mistress.” one of the female servants offered Pandra the different colors of lace that she had demanded to be brought to her. She grinned while making her choice. “I guess you found your mate.” the servant added.
• Pandra glanced at her and scoffed. No one knew that the chief official minister was her mate, and that's how they wanted it to be. At first, it was a goal to steal the king's heart and have him killed so her mate would take over the imperial seat of the supreme lycan king, and she would be Luna.
