Chapter 13
- Until mid-day, Odessa couldn't get herself together. She sobbed continuously but didn't know why exactly she was unable to hold her tears. Was it the wolf mark she had seen on her neck? Or the bruises on her vagina and thighs?
- Her eyes were so swollen and reddish. She had managed to wash her face several times and stared at her reflection in the mirror but couldn't stand to march outside with her looks. Her fellow slaves would make fun of her, regardless of the fact they were all slaves.
- She lay on the bed, arms folded against her chest. Her mind reflected the past night again, and she shook her head, trying to get off the thought in her head. It was just as killing as a threat and torture. The image of the Lycan shadowing her was so terrific.
