• Odessa scratched her fingers on the floor to open her eyes. At first, it was blurry, but then, she opened her eyes, staring at the young wolf male slave that stood before her with her arms folded against her chest.
• Her heart flinched as she looked around to notice that it was a deserted area but wasn't sure if it was still in the palace or not. She struggled to sit up, which sent a shocking wave all over her veins. She gritted her teeth, relaxing back.
• “Who did you say you are, and what business do I have with you?” She cared less to look at him. All she wanted was to be spared so she could go back to work and save herself from unnecessary queries from Mistress Pandra or Lyra.
