Chapter 24

• Mistress Pandra sat on the floor beside her bed, watching as Lyra smashed her boot on the floor, pacing from one corner of the room to another with her hands clutched backward and she lowered, gazing at the floor.
• The silence in the room was kinda worrisome to her. She wanted to say something to Lyra but wasn't sure if that would do well or piss her off, so she wrapped her arms around her knees, staring at her like she was in some drama.
• After minutes of pacing about, Lyra turned to her, eyes flickered nervously, “Do you think the King would be done with her by now?”
