• The beast took to its heels. It passed by Lyra, who had frozen at a spot and made its way towards the interrogation building. It kept sniffling into the air as if there was a special scent lingering around.
• All the guards and soldiers at the interrogation building vacated, running away for their lives while the beast evaded every space, getting down whatever seemed like a hindrance.
• “Take me away from this room. If I am to be interrogated, then I should be tied in the same room with others. You can't have your way, or I'll make sure you regret it.” Odessa's loud voice caused the beast to pause, its upper limb dragging away the chairs on the way as it let out a fierce roar.
