Chapter 22

• The men who had been busy gobbling their fruits heard Odessa's voice and reached out to her. They stood before her with a sinister smile covering their faces. One of them threw Kiwi he was holding towards her, and it hit her leg.
• Her face chiseled as she slowly raised her gaze to meet the man who almost wounded her, “let's be even. Since you threw the fruit at me, why not loosen the rope so I would eat it? I'm so hungry here…..”
• They burst into laughter. Their voices resounded in the woods.
