• Beta Khal left the palace after the Alpha Kings concluded with Ronan and the others that their Luna would never leave with them. He had overworked himself and needed a big rest.
• He reached out to the couch in his room and dropped his cloak on it. While he was about to loosen his tied hair, he inhaled a familiar scent—a scent that signified that his mate was nearby.
• “Sarah,” he mentioned, darting his eyes around the room. “You can't hide forever, you know that. And, I am not some predator, so show up,” he added, pacing towards the curtain.
