• All the slaves were running helter-skelter to meet up with the day's duty so they would be free and be able to join the full moon festival. Those who haven't experienced their heat prayed to the goddess that it would show up at night, and they could be bonded with a Lycan to lessen their daily jobs.
• They had learnt from the older slaves that when a Lycan bonds with a werewolf during their heat stage, they wouldn't be able to stand seeing them tortured that much. Not because they began cherishing them, but because they needed to be strong always and sate the Lycans' sex cravings.
