Chapter 33

• After a long sleep, Odessa opened her eyes to still find herself lying in the cold cell. She wiped her face and took a deep gasp. She felt like she had just been hit with a brick on the head, the excruciating pain sending goosebumps all over her.
• Her eyes narrowed as she slowly sat up on the floor and pushed backwards until she leaned on the wall. Her whole body had been bruised and messed up, especially her back which was soaked up in blood.
• The fact that she still couldn't recall how she escaped from the palace was the worst thing ever. Then it meant to her that she was punished in vain—just for the hatred for her species—that's why she got to pass through all that.
