Chapter 93 Leaving For A While

• The journey to the pack started in earnest and all attempts to see Maya before I left the pack proved abortive. “Where could she have gone to, that I did not see her?” I asked myself, looking directly outside the outside space of the chariot to see the streets that ran past us. Not long after, we arrived at the pack, and we were welcomed warmly.
• My heart was racing faster when we were led to the alpha of the pack. I tilted my head to look at Sabrina as she had a bright smile on her face while we walked down the hallway. Not long after, we arrived at a door and the guards opened the door for us to go inside. I immediately halted my steps as I took a few steps inside the room and heaved a sigh, bowing my head to greet the alpha.
