Chapter 79 Where Is The Past?

• “How the hell were you able to pull that off? He is not usually like that to anybody. I wonder what you are made of and why you always seem to earn his favors.” Liam expressed his shock as we walked back to the training center. I was just as shocked as he was. “What could have happened? Why was he being all nice to me?” I asked myself, and then I tilted my head to look at Liam, who was still looking puzzled as if he were trying to figure it out. I heaved a sigh to grab his attention and he looked at me immediately.
• “Thank you for hearing me out. I didn't know how to manage it that was why I tried to push people away from me. If not for you, I wouldn't have gotten a week off training. Thanks to you, and I sincerely appreciate it.” I didn't know what I was saying because I was caught up in the whole euphoria. He nodded his head slightly as he looked away from me taking a deep breath. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but he was resisting the urge to talk. I didn't like the silence that followed, so I started to talk.
