• Maya's POV
• "What is going on with you? Why did your facial expression change immediately at the mention of alpha Darius?" I could not help but ask. She took a deep breath and looked away for a moment. Curiosity grew inside of me, forcing me to repeat the question, and this time, she tilted her head to look at me.
• "I am not in a position to tell you about it. Perhaps, the alpha would let you know when he is back but the only advice that I can give to you right now is to stay as far away from him as possible." For a moment, my heart raced faster. I didn't know what she was talking about, but I knew it was nothing short of a terrifying experience.
