Chapter 83 Foreign Body

• Alpha James's POV
• The morning came sooner than I thought it would. I rolled on my bed and closed my eyes because I needed more sleep, but then I remembered that I needed to prepare to leave for Alpha Edward's pack. I took a deep breath before I got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom to take my bath. Not long after, I walked out of the bathroom cleaning myself. I quickly put on my dress and headed out of the room to my father's room to greet him and just when I took the first turn, I noticed that Maya's former room was slightly opened, and I halted my steps immediately. “Who could be in there?” I asked myself as I walked towards the room and opened the door abruptly. I was shocked at the sight before me as I met her half-naked again. I then recalled the last time I did and how everything played out.
• I didn't run out and I saw her, but she only covered up and forced a smile as she heaved a sigh and walked towards me. I looked at her for a moment and then many questions started to creep into my mind. I was angry yet happy to see her. She also didn't utter a single word to me as she stared deep into my eyes. “Why was she waiting for me to talk first?” I asked myself and just as if she were reading my mind, she cleared her throat slightly to talk.
