Chapter 27 Not Going To Happen!

• Maya's POV
• It was finally time for the council meeting. I walked out of my room and headed straight to the conference room where it was scheduled to be held. As I stepped, the sound of my footsteps didn't waste time announcing my presence. I halted for a while as all eyes were on me. My eyes darted between everyone seated there on their chairs.
• I walked further and in no time, I was standing in front of them. They showed no form of respect for me but I didn't mind as well. I took a deep breath, exhaling heavily as I connected my butt to the chair slowly.
