Chapter 86 Nightmare?

• Maya's POV
• They both walked out of the room and I could not help but watch them leave until they shut the door. My mind wandered off to Daniel and how everything went this morning. I heaved a sigh as I quickly put on the dress. “At least I had made peace with Alpha James. And since he was going to be away from me, that leaves me enough time to see and speak with Daniel.” I thought for a moment and then took a deep breath. Not long after, I was done with dressing and I walked out of the room, heading to the Alpha's room immediately. Not long after, I arrived there in his room and took a deep breath to calm my racing heart before I knocked.
• “Come in!” I heard the Alpha say faintly and I heaved a sigh for a moment before I opened the door and walked in immediately. They looked shocked as they were not expecting me at all. I bowed my head to greet them, and they both gestured in response to my greetings. I walked closer to them, and I heaved a sigh, halting my steps as soon as I was in front of them. My heart raced faster, as I didn't know what was going through their minds at that moment. After a moment of silence, the Alpha cleared his throat slightly to break the silence, and I raised my head to look at him. He tilted his head to look at his wife before he looked at me to talk.
