• Maya's POV
• “Let's do this fast,” I muttered, and she gave me the nod, smiling at me for a moment. I smiled back at her for a moment and then heaved a sigh. A wave of fear slowly engulfed my whole body, but I didn't let it deter me from going ahead with the process at all. “I need to get some with it once and for all.” I thought for a moment.
• “I will give you something that you are going to swallow. It will awaken your spirit when you are inside the portal and that is when you will be able to connect with them there. But you have to take it when you are already inside the realm.” She explained rapidly, and I continued to nod my head as I was following all that she was saying. She looked at the staff in her hand and then back at me before she continued.
