Chapter 54

• When our twins were six months old, I conceived again. We were happy. We did not tell anyone yet. I carried the pregnancy to term. This was not as hard as the first one. We were enlightened on the condition that I suffered from and thus, we sort medical attention early enough. The McDonald stitch was still put on me, but having experienced during the first pregnancy, we took things easy with Ray helping out in most of the house chores and with the girls. I had few bedrest moments this time round.
• I gave birth to twins once more. They were boys. We named them Trevor and Travis. They looked very handsome just like their father. He was very proud this time round. Our mothers were very happy. They would come to our home in shifts to help us take care of our little ones. They were proud to be grandmothers. They shared in our joy.
• Parenting was not as easy as we though, especially taking care of four children. We hired two house-helps. Anita had also come to live us as she pursued Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in the university. She was of great help especially when Ray and I traveled to different schools to mentor students. Our mothers too couldn’t be left out. They came anytime we needed them.
