• In the evening, mum came and told me that she had gotten money for my school fees. I would go back the next day. Anita felt lonely. We spent the night talking when mum slept. I told her what Ray had said about the prospective boyfriend. I told her that she shouldn’t tell mum what I had told her about Ray and I and she promised to keep the secret. I helped her with her mathematics assignment and read a little bit. She helped me pack my bag. We wished each other good night and slept. The next day I went straight to school.
