  • I called mum and gave her the bad news. She too, like Ray was happy about my results. “This is so terrible, mum. I have failed. I know this is not what you expected of me. I am sorry mum” I said. There was silence between us for a short while. Finally, mum decided to talk. “You have done well my daughter, considering the situation you were in while sitting for your examination. You now need to move forward and strategize on how you want your life to be” she said calmly. I had to think fast. I had to know what to do with my life hence forth.
