Chapter 7 Seven

• Joan let out a deep breath when's he heard a knock on her door. They were here, and he…he was here too. Her hand traveled to the doorknob but stopped midair and she let out another deep breath, why was she so nevrous, she needed to act cool so he wouldn't notice how affected she had been the last few months. She closed her eyes and reopened them and then opened the door and the first person she layed her eyes on were Alice and her big baby bump, the warmest smile immediately appeared on her and Alice drew her into a hug without wasting a single second. She had missed Alice so much and was genuinely happy to see her.
• Alice broke the hug, and Lilac also hugged her, followed by Johnathan. Diana finally got out of the car and simply smiled warmly at her. She was glad to see the troublesome witch also. After she was done with the greeting with everyone, her eyes searched earnestly for someone, but she couldn't bring herself to ask about him. Devon sighed in frustration when he realised Liam hadn't come out of the car. He had no idea what else he could say to this stubborn brother of his. He had tried his best and hoped Liam would act on what he had told him. Joan felt her heart break when she assumed that Liam hadn't come with them and she hated herself for him. The glass of the car was tinted so she couldn't see insise.
