Chapter 18 Eighteen
- "So you have to mark me?" Joan said under her breath, her eyes on her breakfast that she had barely touched and had turned cold. Who would have thought she would be having this conversation with her "Mate". It was a really weird conversation, and she couldn't even look up at him. "Is it painful?" She asked out of nowhere, taking Liam by surpise. "What!"

The only reason Joan was asking was because of what Alice had told her in the past and what she had read in the grimoire. But she wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth. "Painful isn't how I would describe it." Liam finally said something. Even the thought of marking her made his wolf growl. "How would you describe it?"
