Chapter 16 Sixteen

• Joan, whose body was on fire as she felt his hot breath on her skin, slowly looked up at him, and their eyes locked. The protest, which was at the back of her mind telling her this wasn't right, disappeared in agiffy, leaving her completely yearning for him. yearning for his lips on hers. yearning for his touch on her skin. it was really hard to think straight when they were this close and desire had clouded her mind. His wolf purred in joy but his canines. they ached too badly. "Mark her! Mark her!" The voice kept yelling in his head, and gums ached even more.
• Joan, who was looking deep into his eyes, couldn't help but gasp when his eyes suddenly changed from their beautiful blue to the colour of complete red. she knew his eyes could change colour but it took her by complete surpise, but she wasn't afraid and she didn't know why. she only continued to stare at him, a bit of her sanity had returned even though she didn't want it to. The next second, Liam, let go and moved a few feet away from her, his back turned to her. And his hand tugging on his hair a little.

She heard him let out a deep breath before he finally turned to look at it. Joan eyes grew wide a little when she saw the state he was in. One of his eyes was flaunting between blue and red, while the other was completely red.
