"Why don't you want to mark me...tell me why..." Joan said as she stared at Liam in front of her. Why had he stopped at the last second? She wanted this now... why did he take her to such height only to leave her hanging? She knew he wanted to mark her... she knew he wanted her, she wasn't blind. only a completely oblivious person wouldn't notice. She didn't care if it was the mate bond or anything else... She just wanted to know why...
Why was everything different with her... Why was everything hard once it was her... Any time she wanted something so much her hopes always became dampened. She had come to accept that her life would never change and it would always be that way... But now she couldn't take it anymore.... Why must her life be that way when she could change it...
