• "Start all over again till you get it right," Hazel said and turned away. Her hand glided across the big wooden shelf in front of her till it stopped on a book that piqued her interest. she took it out, and a smile formed on her face. "I found it, you can stop." She brought out the book and placed it on the table in front of her. "This looks nothing like the book." Gemma, a dark witch who stayed with coraline, said. Her eyes scan the normal looking book. "How long have you been using forbidden magic?" Hazel asked as she opened the book, the smile on her face widening. "Many years now. why do you ask?" . " I can sense it coming from the book," Hazel answered... The book was blank, and this only made Gemma more confused than she already was. "But there are not writing. no spells, " She complained, and Hazel chuckled a bit. "Yes, there is. but you can't see it yet. " Hazel stretched her hand and gestured for Gemma to hand her the dagger she always kept with her. Gemma slowly took out the dagger and handed it to her, her interest already. stolen but the strange book and what Hazel was planning on doing. "Thabk you. " Hazel collected it from her and slowly sliced her palm with the knife. She didn't flinch but had a smile on her face as her blood slowly dripped on the book. Gemma's eyes grew side when Hazel's blood immediately changed to black immediately it came in contact with the sheets of the book. It was fascinating to watch. "I will let you do honour. Say the spells. the revealing spell. " Gemma nodded and did as she was told, and as she began with the spells. The blood slowly started to circulate the page, and writings started to appear. Gemma gasped at what she was witnessing and knew she had a lot to learn..
• "Do you believe me now?" Hazel said and recited a spell in a low voice, and her wound closed up. "How did you know?" Gemma asked in, her eyes shining with curiosity. "It is a book of forbidden magic. it needs the blood of someone who practices forbidden magic to be opened. Like my blood or maybe your blood. not everyone can do this, " Hazel explained and patted Gemma on her shoulder. "You have a lot to learn. Coraline should have taught you this already. I wonder why she hasn't. "
