Chapter 41 Forty One
- Diana carried Lilac to the Queen Lilac immediately stopped crying, causing both women to smile at one another. "When should we start, the king will be back tomorrow morning so we have to leave soon" The Queen said and Diana stood up and disappeared in the back room of her house. she came back with a smaller book in her hands and started to flip the pages till she finally arrived at the page she was looking for. "From what his written here, they will be born once again, but this time each of the children of the prophecy will be mates to the children of the Royal family, so they can be protected... We have to make sure Devon is the first" Diana said and fhe Queen turned to look at Devon who had immediately hid behind his mother when Diana mentioned his name... "its okay darling don't be afraid, Diana here just wants to help you, so you can wait till you find your mate... Don't you want to find your mate" Little Devon turned towards Alice again like he could see her before he nodded and came out from hiding behind his mother... Diana smiled at him and gave him her hand he took it. she then turned to look at Liam and sighed. "Is there no way we could help him meet his mate faster before he meets her?" Diana shook her head. "it's already in his fate, there is nothing we can do about it. this is the only little way we could help them so they can stay till their mates her born. what I saw in the future his pretty scary, but I'm sure they can overcome it" The Queen said and patted Liam's back. "You are going to be a great king and I'm going to make sure of that" ... Liam smiled at his mother and she gave him a warm hug....
- everything started to change once again and they were all transported away from the house, but this time Lilac gasped immediately she realised where they were. how could she ever forget this wretched place. it was the place she had lost her mother. She really didn't want to be here... She wanted to go home... Her heart started to race when She saw her younger self and Devon approaching. "Mother is going to be so mad" She said to her brother who sighed deeply. lilac immediately ran to her younger self and tried to stop her so she could make sure her mother didn't leave the place but it was of no use. They walked right past through her. "No wait!" she screamed but they couldn't hear. "Lilac" Johnathan held his mate and tried to stop her but she immediately tried to free herself from his arms. "I need to warn them. I need to save mother. she can't leave the Palace to find Liam. he will come back on his own.... I need to stop them" She yelled out in pain, but Johnathan held on to her and didn't let her go till she finally calmed down and muttered "My mother is going to die because of me... she isn't as strong as normal lycans, how can she protect herself against those dark witches"... Alice couldn't hold back her tears when she saw Lilac in so much pain... She wished they could do something and help stop this but there was nothing they could do. They were just in a fragment of time, like a memory and of they tried to disrupt the past it would surely affect the future... all they could do was watch, even when they were aware of an impending tradegy... Devon never talked about his parents and it didn't take Alice long to realise that it was a sensitive topic for him so she never asked but now that she had an inkling of what had happened in the past, she felt her heart break for the Alpha... He never spoke about his pain and only comforted her. The three siblings were all the same. they looked and acted though on the outside when they had a wound that was yet to heal on the inside... She wanted to hug Lilac and tell her it wasn't her fault. Alice hand travelled to her bump..she would have done the same for her baby too. There was a bond she felt that was hard to explain, but she knew she would have done the dame..
- Joan thought the same thing too. she knew all the siblings would be blaming themselves for what had happened secretly. Especially Liam...
