Chapter 49 Forty Nine

Joan turned to look at Liam, who was fast asleep beside her... she couldn't even bring herself to wake him up and tell him about what had just occurred... she got up from the bed and walked straight to the balcony of the room. Her heart was still racing like crazy... the thought that Hazel was still out there and definitely planning her revenge made her feel sick... She stood there for a while and let the night wind blow towards her... what was she going to do? How were they going to defeat Hazel this time... it had been just a slight chance the last time...
"I need to learn more about my powers," Joan muttered and sighed deeply... She was completely wide awake now and knew it was useless trying to go back to sleep after such an event...
she closed her eyes and took a deep breath... she had to explore her powers more and put them to good use...
