Chapter 33 Thirty Three

• Liam finally arrived at the pack with Joan placed safely at his back. Devon and two of his men with Lilith were outside waiting for him. They gently helped him place Joan off his back and then take her upstairs of the room Devon had prepared for them. [She will be fine] Devon mindlinked Liam and the wolf Growled. Devon handed him a new pair of clothes and went into the house to wait for him. "How is she?" He asked Lilith, and the healer looked at him, confused at the phenomenon that was happening all of a sudden. "She is fine. just like the Luna. She is asleep. nothing is wrong with her, " She answered. The children of the prophecy always fascinated her. "If they are both this way, then what about Johnathan?" Lilith said, Devon was already wondering the same things as soon as Liam arrived. "How is she?" Liam said as she walked into the room. his eyes on his mate. "She is fine," Lilith told him to. Liam walked to the edge of her bed and sat down beside her. his eyes filled with worry. "We were together when all of a sudden, she started to glow... That light." He said, and Devon sighed. "The same thing happened with Alice. I need to call Lilac and ask about Johnathan. I will be right back. " Devon walked off the room and dialled his sister number. These were the times they needed Diana to be at the pack, but she always chose to go awol at the wrong time. The phone rang and rang, but there wasn't an answer. he called up two more times and still didn't get an answer even though he had spoken to her just a few hours ago. Devon walked back to the room and sighed. "She isn't answering." He also tried to mind linking her but still didn't get a response. "Maybe the moon goddess is trying to speak to them," Lilith wondered aloud cause that was the only reason she could think of. it wasn't the first time it was happening. "I think so too," Devon agreed. "Where is Diana?" Liam asked when he couldn't sight the witch. Devon sighing was the answer he needed. "I will send someone to go and check on Johnathan and Lilac. I'm a bit worried about them. " Liam nodded, and both Lilith and Devon left him alone with his mate.
