Chapter 31 The Prophecy

• A YEAR OF THE HUNT:
• Gerhardt of Convel had been gone for at least a month, for the hunt of the Great White wolf's daughter, Elvinia the Brynhildr's daughter of Isolde. Isolde was one of the first War Maidens that was created. The first three hundred years of Isolde of life were used to fight for her Creator until she met the love of her life, who was to be Elvinia's father Andreas Udolf of the Haus von Volf. Andreas was one of the Eldest Slayers, he was of the House of Wolf and was chosen to be Elvinia's father from the moment he accepted his fate by accepting the War Maiden, Isolde as his bride. Gerhardt kept reading his lord's journal to understand who he was searching for. It was dark outside, staying hidden in the caves near the dwarven mountains. Outside there was a battle going on, and though he wanted to be out there fighting it was not his mission at the moment. His mission was to stay hidden and be on the search for her who had been lost to the world the moment she left the Hold to save her children and Elsa's orphaned twins. He had managed to make his way back to the Hold where she was last seen. He searched everywhere inside whatever was left wasn't much though he managed to find her scent. It had taken a couple of days to find her scent considering the destruction that was left behind. He understood that he was being helped by a spirit that was trapped in the Hold. She gave him an image of who he was searching for and yet he didn't know the spirit's name only that she was lost because there was boatman to take her to the lands of the Undying. There were many spirits that had been trapped here, some being captured by the demon elves who were collecting the souls for their master, The Dark lord of Death. This woman spirit had managed to stay hidden when the demon elves were collecting the souls and though she was stuck there she did her best to help the Slayer until he left the place to find Elvinia. He chased down many leads searching for her and the children that was hers to guard and protect though most of the rumors were dead end there was a few temples that he had managed to find protecting the secret of where the Brynhildr was located. Their mouths sealed unable to speak because there were those who wanted to find Elvinia for evil reasons. The secret they would keep but managed to let Gerhardt know that he would find her near the Dragon's peak. Then they went into a slumber for the message that was given to him they were to forget. He knew it was for protection of Elvinia and her children for the priest here not to remember the information they had just given him; and of course if they were ever captured they would have no memory to give if they were being tortured they would be useless. Outside the cave he saw the lightning as many of the elven fighting against their own race helping the humans to take back lands and prevent the evil from spreading. Even though this war was far from over, so much damage had already occured. Every one of them knew they couldn't hold too much longer and yet the kings of men, rulers of who were trying to regain their Holds wouldn't listen to reason. So instead of trying to make peace with Elvinia they would rather be fighting the evil alone and wanting to find and kill the only one strong enough to defeat the Dark Lord of Death. He was once human before the transformation, when his mortal heart was switched by the monster that was used to make him into who he was, a mutant monster killer, a Slayer. In the early morning he had left without being seen by those who were searching for the spirits of the dead to be collected for their master. Though the allies had managed to survive the night and kept the walls from crumbling, they didn't have long for sooner or later the Horde's soldier would break through and it would be another defeat for the allies. Dwarves, elves, and humans not to mention the gnomes and other magical beings were trying to hold the lines. He was learning that creatures and monsters were being attacked though some were being plaque with possession and those who managed to be saved were trying to join the Allied Forces because it was now affecting the vampires and lycans and other creatures like the Beserkers enough for them to no longer stay neutral.
