- The dungeon walls crunched in on me, air thick and suffocating as another day dragged on. Hades and I sat there, our backs against cold stone, in the dark, waiting on whatever new torment Zeus had planned for us. I tried to ignore it, to block out the memory of his touch, but every time I closed my eyes, I could feel his breath on my neck and his cruel hands gripping me too tightly.
