Chapter 29 The President Calls the Shots

• The sudden knock on the door interrupted James’ desire to continue teasing Cynthia. He quickly released his grip on Cynthia’s arms and legs before he gently tidied her hair which had turned messy as she was wrestling away from him. Cynthia couldn’t help but blush as she watched him fix her hair.
• However, James didn’t go any further with his actions and simply returned to his seat as if nothing had happened between them. Cynthia felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders once James left. She hastily regulated her breathing in order to cool off the burning sensation on her cheeks. • When Cynthia recalled that someone had knocked on the door, she hurried to tidy her dress. The hemline of her dress was slightly wrinkled after she raised her leg in an attempt to kick him. He’s such a shameless man. Hmph!
