• The staff members arranged for Cynthia to wait in Lewis Incorporated’s lounge area. “The president might take a while to return, Miss Wendy. Please have some coffee while you wait,” the staff uttered.
• “Okay. I’ll wait for him here. You can leave now,” she replied. As she settled into the comfortable couch and sipped on the coffee that the staff member had prepared for her, Cynthia glanced at the clock to see that it was already past 10.00AM. She didn’t have much to do in the lounge, so she picked up some entertainment magazines and began to flip through them.
• Her slender fingers explored the pages of the magazine. Her roles as a designer and a daughter of a wealthy family ensured that the skin on her hands remained smooth and fair.
