Chapter 180 Final Selection

  • Given the tremendous number of people that had come to audition, Jude was constantly calling out numbers outside the door. When he reached seventy-six, he found the number of people in the line wasn’t getting any smaller, and was intimidated by it. Accordingly, he turned around and entered the room to privately discuss a change of tactics with Sawyer. “Sawyer, there’s still a whole lot of people lining up. Perhaps we should increase the number of auditionees per entry, or we might not finish the audition if we only see three at once.”
  • In fact, Sawyer had complete trust in Jude. After all, they were roommates for three years during their college years. When Sawyer published his first detective novel, Jude was already his personal assistant. And with the consequent years of bonding, they had become best buddies that knew every particulars of each other.
  • In response, Sawyer nodded with a smile. “Then, please take care of it. You don’t have to come here just to tell me that, you know? All you had to do was shout and I would’ve heard it. After all, we’ve known each other for so long. I’m sure we have the synergy, don’t we?”
