Faye and her children panicked when Dominic yelled.
Daisy stopped crying, but there were still tear stains on her face. She stared at Dominic in horror, her jaw gaping. Her eyes were filled with terror as she recalled her hellish old life.
She had gotten used to living in a big villa and dressing in luxury clothes. She had gotten used to having expensive meals and getting her needs tended to by a group of servants. She had gotten used to the comfortable days of not having to work, but now she might have to give up on all those luxuries. She might have to go back to living in a hamlet and work long hours just to survive. She might have to make dinner and do all the house chores even after a long day of working.
