Chapter 149 Thug

  • Cynthia chuckled mirthlessly. Why, I haven’t even said you’re going to be the ambassador, but you’re already coming up with so many terms. Are you sure we’re the ones interviewing you? You make it look like it’s the other way around. You have no idea who you’re dealing with. Cynthia looked coldly at Madelyn, who was still making demands. She was going into the specifications of the kind of hotel she wanted, including the blanket, table, and even windows. A frown appeared on Cynthia’s face as she looked icily at Madelyn. A smirk hung on her lips, and she stopped Brenda, who was about to go into a tirade.
  • We spent more than an hour talking to nothing but an arrogant wench. If you think you’re so good, you can always find another company to be an ambassador for, not us. Time to leave. Cynthia refused to listen to Madelyn any longer, but Cynthia held all her fury and annoyance down. She smiled at Amber and nodded. “I’ll think about it after I get back to the company. My assistant will call you if there’s any news.” She stood up, took her bag gently, and left with Brenda. Before she left, she smiled politely at Amber and Madelyn.
  • Once they left the room, Cynthia’s face darkened. Brenda looked livid as well, and she swung her fists at the closed room. After they left Café Kalamanda, Brenda finally couldn’t hold it in anymore, and she turned to Cynthia to grumble. “Well, that was an eye opener. I never thought Madelyn would be such an arrogant b*tch. She thinks too highly of herself, and her demands were absurd! What makes her think she’s getting the spot? Does she even listen to herself? I can’t believe I used to chase after her and thought she was a great person. She just lost a fan.”
