Chapter 79 EdwardChloe - Far Away

  • "I'll go first. If you need anything, Leta is there to help you." This morning, after breakfast, Edward specifically said goodbye to Chloe. According to the schedule, he and Nicholas will leave for Turkey in the next few days. There, they will attend an important meeting with several Developers to discuss cooperation. Then, start determining the schedule, when the construction of this mega project will begin. Chloe herself is in much better condition today. His body temperature gradually improved. The headache he had been suffering from for the past few days had also begun to subside. But still, Edward asked his wife to rest and return to work when her condition was back to normal as usual. "No need to worry about me. I'm not Mr Eduardo Cullen's little boy." Edward laughed. The man then rose from his seat. He grabbed the coat slung behind the chair and quickly put it on. "But for me, you're still my little wife," said the man and then kissed the top of his wife's head briefly. "Don't miss me as long as I'm not by your side." Chloe pursed her lips tightly. He wanted to answer, but he thought it was too early for Edward, always annoying. So what he did was get up too, then without warning, he landed a hug on the man's body in front of him. "Happy travels. I hope you stay there a long time. If necessary, don't come back," he sarcastically said. Edward chuckled at the sarcasm. He was well aware that his wife was deliberately making fun of him. So what he did after that was to stretch out his arms, lower his head and then grab Chloe's chin to place a deep kiss on her lips. Kiss it with tenderness. It didn't matter that Leta and Nicholas were watching the two of them. The kiss lasted long enough. Edward's lips kept moving as if massaging Chloe's lips together. Slowly, until she felt her breath begin to catch on. So in the next second, Edward couldn't help but end their kiss. "I swear, you'll miss me as long as I'm not by your side," Edward whispered after breaking the kiss. "Oh yes?" Chloe looked down at Edward. "Don't dream, my husband." he continued. Then Chloe bravely kissed Edward again on the lips before finally letting him go. "We will see later." **** "Sam, I'm bored! Can you take me to L'Elysee Artisan Cafe right now?" Chloe ordered on the line. After a day of boredom in the room, Chloe decided to go outside in the afternoon. I accidentally contacted Samuel to pick him up and then drove him to the cafe he subscribed to. At least, if something happened, there would be an assistant guarding it. It didn't take her long to wait because Samuel had arrived and took Chloe straight to where she wanted to be a few minutes later. "Madam, we can't stay here long. You are still recovering." Chloe, who had just sat down, immediately looked up. An annoyed expression was visible on her beautiful face. "Arghh..."
  • Chloe growled, then folded her arms in front of her chest. "You're just like Edward. Too much. I just had a fever." Handing over the menu book, Samuel grimaced. "I'm just worried. You're the type of woman who rarely gets sick. If you drop like this, it means you really need a lot of rest." "How many times do I have to convince you? I'm fine." Chloe continued to argue. He was sure that his condition was indeed much better. "Now, stop babbling! I want to enjoy my afternoon in peace." Just as he finished saying that sentence, another disturbance came.
  • Chloe's cell phone rang several times. When viewed, Edward's name was displayed on the screen of the bright object. "Madam, why don't you pick up?" Samuel scolded after seeing Chloe, who didn't listen to incoming calls on her cellphone. "For God's sake, I'm too lazy to take a phone call from Edward. The guy must want to ask if I've taken my medicine or not." "But you'd better pick up the call right away," the man suggested. "Who knows there are other important things that your husband wants to convey." A lazy little Chloe finally accepted Edward's call. "Hello..." "Why did it take you so long? Are you deliberately worrying me?" Edward asked on the other side. "Honestly I'm lazy to take your calls," said Chloe casually. "Ha...ha...ha..." Edward laughed instead. "Alright, I won't bother you. I called you on purpose because I wanted to let you know that I've arrived in Istanbul and am on my way to the Hotel." "Ah… unimportant information," Chloe pouted.
