• “Tell them to stop!” Jonathan screamed at Arman as Draco and the soldiers descended on his camp.
• Steel met flesh in brutal, merciless waves. The rebels barely had time to register what was happening before screams ripped through the air. Tents were torn open, bodies dragged out. Some tried to run—cut down from behind. Others reached for weapons with shaking hands, only to be struck down before they could lift them. Horses reared and screamed, arrows sliced through the night, blades flashed red under torchlight. The smell of blood, smoke, and fear swallowed the camp whole.
