Chapter 121
- Kavian's POV
- After leaving our mate’s pack, my brothers and I returned to the camp where our father and his battalion were stationed. The night air was cold and dry, heavy with the scent of steel, smoke, and pine. Flames from scattered torches flickered against the tents, painting everything in restless shadows.
- My brothers had wanted to bring Rose back with us, but I’d managed to convince them otherwise. She was safer in her own pack for now—at least until we left this place and returned home across the ocean, to Varshan Hold. I told them that a battlefield camp was no place for a lady, especially not ours. Thankfully, Arman had agreed, backing me up before the others could protest.
