• “I miss her,” I sniffed as I finally started calming down after crying for who knows how long. “I miss her so much. Why did she have to go away so suddenly!”
• “I miss her too. Every day, every night. I miss her with every breath I take. But everybody has to leave one day, and your mother left a little early.” I looked up and he offered me a glum smile.
• “But I know she would want us to live on. Happily, in peace. But that doesn’t mean we won’t miss her.” I looked down wiping my eyes with the back of my hand.
