Chapter 53 Basket Of Confusion - Part Il

• I awoke feeling rejuvenated and energised. I haven't felt better in days. I dressed and headed out to the garden. In this harsh world, this is where I most like to be. The scent of the soil, the sound of the birds, and the sight of the beautiful flowers all drew me. I grabbed my tools and got to work. I weeded the beds, watered the lilies, and clipped the roses. As I worked, I hummed a song. This morning was serene, and my heart felt at ease for the first time in a long time. When I looked up, the sun was shining brightly. I was soothed by the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze. I felt at home there, at one with nature. Nature is where I heal.
• “Hello there, dragocen.” I turned around to find Anxo staring down at me with a warm smile. He stood at the edge of the flower beds with his hands in his pockets. Dressed casually in a loose fitted off-white shirt and grey slacks. (precious)
