Chapter 32

• Bella’s POV
• I jump to my feet and scurry into the bathroom so I can take a shower. I’m so excited about being able to see Kat then anything. I turn on the water and let it get warm while I brush my teeth. Once I am done, I bathe really quick. I dry off and head straight for my closet. I pick out a nice black pencil skirt with a silk short sleeve blouse that has a V that showcases a little bit of cleavage. I blow dry my hair, and curl the ends before throwing it up in a pony tail. I pick some black pump high heel shoes and a black purse. I do my make-up and spray on some perfume. I give myself a once over in the mirror. I am satisfied with how I look. I glance over at the clock and it reads 12:26 pm, so I go ahead and walk downstairs to meet Ivan.
• Every step makes me wince from the punishment I received earlier. Wishing I had more time to go slip on something not as tight, but I don’t want to chance being late. I finally make it down the flight of stairs where Enzo and Kat are standing. Enzo has Kat by the upper arm whispering something in her ear. I know it can’t be nice because Kat drops her head looking defeated. I want to walk up to them and yell at him to let her go, but that would only cause more problems for both her and me. So, instead I clear my throat alerting them that I have arrived. Enzo snaps his head over toward my direction. His face is hard to read like Ivan’s I can’t never tell what kind of mood they are in. I keep my distance not wanting to make him mad for Kat’s sake. Ivan joins us only moments later.
