Chapter 13

• Bella’s POV
• Ivan doesn’t say anything to me nor has he released my neck. I’ve already said everything I could think of to appease him. Looking up at Ivan’s face I try to tell what he is thinking, but it’s like looking at a blank canvas. He hides his emotions so good. The awkward tension in the room is so thick I can’t hardly stand it any longer, so I break the silence. “Thank you for letting Kat come up here and bring me some food. I really enjoyed talking to her. She informed me of a lot of customs in a short period of time. She also said that we would be picking out a dress for your mother’s birthday party that is coming up. How old will she be?”
• After a couple of minutes of waiting for Ivan to respond I finally gave up and asked him “can I please go to the bathroom daddy.” He let go of me and gave me a nod. I ease up out of the bed wishing I had something to cover up with. I go straight to the tub and start my water. After doing my business, I brush my teeth and grab some towels. I slowly get into the steaming water. The whelps on my ass burned like someone has set me on fire. I hiss out loud from the pain, but continue until I’m fully submerged. I close my eyes and eventually fall asleep. I wake up to freezing cold water. I pull the stopper and watch the water drain out. I get out and head to the shower with all my toiletries, and wash my hair and body. I finish up in the bathroom and walk back into the bedroom naked.
